It must really hard to step down when you're at the top. And you're a long time retired. I'd have quite liked to see him have a go at WSB but that's not going to happen. Great champion but his championship winning days are now behind him.

Never was one for Rossi's bullshit, but there is no argument he is/was a genius on a motorcycle. It was his genius motorcycle brain that won him 9 world championships, but now I think its his ego doing most of the riding. (sounds like me at track days )

Will number 10 make him more of a legend in the sport than he already is ? I really don't think it will, and I'd hate to see him die trying.

JB has guided him through that brilliant career with words of wisdom, and clearly still knows whats best for his rider, but Rossi is not listening.

Rossi's ego took over as No1 rider back when Lorenzo was going head to head with him 3-4 years ago. This caused him to make some emotional decisions sending his career into a nosedive. Throwing out the navigator just before he hits the ground is not going to help much, and is just another ego driven decision.
