Crashfest

We're going to be having one at some stage so I thought I'd get the ball rolling.

Easytrack were really good to me (and some other sd'ers) last summer and as I still have a bundle of already paid for trackdays with them I'd like to ask if we can use them for 2012.

I've no idea how much track time I'll get next year but I do know that as I have credit with ET I won't be attending any days with any of the other companies as it just doesn't make sense.

Im not fussed who we go for but most of the guys its good to have two days in a row so that its not a long trip for just a days riding, and also better chance of weather.

Id like to say id have another SD by then so will see

More KTM's would be great but I think still have it as a two dayer in August time like years before.

I'm easy who we go with but have to say I love the format of a sessioned day followed by a open pit lane. That worked so well at this year event. Happy as always to do Cadders as well.

i'm with klinck - 2 days with open pit lane on day two was very good......... only slight reservation was that a lot of people who had booked for the open pit lane day didn't show according to the No Limits guys i spoke to during the second day...... next time may be quite a lot busier?........ not that i mind being dragged round the circuit by the racers!! - I learnt a lot last time!!

I'm all for Easytrack, great company.

My vote would be Cadwell in the summer again, 2 dayer like always. If we can get an open pit lane then great. I know its a smidge further for some but could we also consider Oulton Park. Lots of guys raving about the place.

Maybe we could have a few less crashes next time so we can rename the event

got to be honest boys if it's NL then I won't be coming, I can't justify paying to do trackdays when I still have so much credit with ET

That said I've no idea what country I'll be in either so I may be out anyway !

Once easytrack have emerged from their "introduction phase" or "loss leader phase" their prices will increase. They have to be more expensive than FE and NL with their model of operation.

They are well established in the Car market and have a sound backer. Hence they can afford to run at a loss while they attract punters over from other companies. I have no idea how long they plan to do that before they look to turn a profit.

Even though I couldn't think of much worse than a car trackday, their prices are good for those too.

Still waiting for next years rates though.....

Watching those cars go round Cadwell was sooo depressing. Just took one slow moving car and within 4 laps everyone was bunched up and no one could overtake. I'd would have been on the horn and telling him to get the fook out of the way

For sure some WILL pay more for less riders in a group, but the TD market for bikes is VERY price driven for a lot of riders.

I have no idea if overall they are turning profit, I know the bike days have run at a loss though.

jody . keep me posted when you next go to cadwell , as i guess with so many days credit you will be there before crashfest happens.

only been round cadwell once and loved it but that was on the ninja(still running fast group times) , so would be good to go with a fellow sd rider.
