I am currently considering how to get to CrashFest, cos it's about 180 miles from mine in Reading which is a bit of a slog on the bike.

Would anybody like to go halves on hiring a van? Happy to ride to wherever you are within reason, or hire locally and drive to you or whatever. I will even let you choose the music and bring road snacks

That aside, I have never been to Cadwell, so would appreciate some advice from those that have.

What sort of time can you turn up from to camp on a Sunday?
Do you need to let the circuit know you're coming or do you just turn up?
Is anybody else planning on heading up for Sunday night?
If I don't bring a van, is there somewhere I can stash the bike?

Any advice much appreciated, cheers all.

I believe you can turn up anytime on the Sunday as long as there's no race fixtures. Last year we had an area cordon ed off with gazebos etc to stash the bikes. Theres a fee for camping which a security gaurd collects in the evenIng unless you hide

There's no garages like Snetterton though, so no indoor camping..

1700hrs onwards

Turn up, there are no gates, just a security guy sometimes
Is anybody else planning on heading up for Sunday night?
Yes all the hardcore ones

Cadwell is a safe place, never heard of a bike going walkies so you can leave it parked with the others

If you cant get a van and have to drive, worst case scenario I have a car and trailer that can be used to help you get home as dont live too far away.

Best off in a van though, as you will need a bit of stuff, deck chair most importantly.

I might have a spot in my van but it will be leaving from North London. Will let you know in the next week.

As others have said most of us arrive around 5pm on the Sunday evening so as to secure as much of the bottom section as possible. Then break out the BBQ and beers

Thanks all for the info.

Klinkck, if you do have space in your van that would be awesome, no worries if you don't though. Quite happy to rendevous in London or just outside if it comes together, will wait to hear from you.
