Bought some of these from FWR earlier in the year. Fancied a try on slicks and these are very reasonably priced at £219 delivered and are aimed at amateur racer/fast trackday rider. So far I have done a day and a couple of sessions at Rockingham, 2 at Snetterton and nearly 2 at Cadders on the same set. There is still around a couple of mm on the wear markers but yesterday the rear started to slide on power out of corners. Nothing scary and is quite predictable. Not sure if this is due to age or that I am just pushing them harder or a mix of both. Been very happy with them though, they have lasted very well, steer well and offer great grip through the corners. I will see if they can take one more day as there is a bit left on all the markers.

I've been told off for using slicks down to the wear markers by various tyre specialists.
If its starting to slide when it would have gripped before the chances are its done its heat cycles and its finished.
'Sounds to me as though you've had your money's worth out of them though!

tyres looks very good.

Be careful about judging how much more you have in your tyres based on wear markers alone. You will be surprised how little rubber there is left even when wear markers looks ok. tyres get thin on a very small area (where you are on the gas) and that might not be in the same spot as the wear markers.
