Karel Abraham's team breaks the silence. 999cc, 250HP, 235mph. Will that be enough for Rossi to be somewhat competitive this year?

Agreed, the problem wasn't engine output, although it may have been linked to engine configuration via weight distribution.

Have Ducati narrowed the angle between the cylinders and produced a v twin as opposed to a L twin?

I heard it was a complete re-design of the cases, that, as we know, "is the frame",,,,,kinda funny that John Britten got it all to work back in the day,,,,,and I know that Ducati scrutinized that bike endlessly,,,,could it have been his "flex fork" design that did so I relize that the Duc put's out much more power than the Britt, but it should, in theory, with a few mod's , work,,,,,,

At the end of the day it all could turn out rather boring with stoner on the Honda

I think the minimum weight for a 4 cylinder bike is now 150KG. Up from 148 (2007) and 145 (2002).
I seem to recall the 4 cylinder 2 strokes were limited to 135.
