Miguel Oliveira, a real class act, posted the fastest time on day 1 of the Jerez Moto2 test. The signs are looking promising, I have a feeling that he and Brad Binder will have a good season, and it's good to see something other than the ubiquitous Kalex chassis at the front of the pack.
Only just over two weeks to wait.....

Yep, hopefully some wins and lot's of top5 for our brand with Miguel
It's a tuff class but it's good start in testing.

Yeah great result in first race of the season. Considering they've never made a 600 frame before it's pretty impressive.
Think it's going to take the MotoGP team a while longer to get competitive though. Hoped they might have done a Suzuki, that bike went very well in its first season.

Isn't the motoGP bike a "traditional" ally twin spar affair?

Just like he did in Moto3 two years ago, Miguel Oliveira gets his first win and then they just keep coming

Will be interesting to see Lowes on a KTM Moto2 next year. I fancy Oliveira for the title. Binder and Lowes hopefully challenging.
MotoGP was a good year as well for KTM. Pol did well. Smith showed glimpses of what he can do. He better up his game or he'll be out for 2019. I'm still hopeful KTM will put that V4 in a road bike. I'd fooking love that as a trackbike.

Yeah, MO44 is my tip for the title too. Should be a very good year in Moto2, with Binder, Lowes and Aegeter (sp?) also on KTM chassis, plus Pasini, Bagnaia, Márquez, Vierge and Danny Kent (if he turns up), just a shame they won’t yet be using the Triumph engines, I’m quite bored with the rather anaemic sound of the current Hondas.
