I guess the first thing that touches the ground would be the std pegs. I am not sure as i 've only rode on the Rizomas. The std pegs though are positioned really low.

I've also seen that the clutch cover touches down quite easily, but then again i 've only had the aftermarket one right from the start.

In my SDR, with the aftermarket clutch cover and the Rizoma rearsets on, I only get to scrape the pegs and unforunately that happens quite often when i push hard on track. Changing the suspension from street to race track settings helped but was not enough.

I have scraped the pegs, clutch cover and nicked the front of the lower cowling now that I am getting very comfortable with the cornering ability. I have some Vortex rear sets coming next week and will see how that help. Usually I scrape my boot, then pegs and then whatever else but wasn't to happy with scraping the clutch cover. Got a feeling those babies are pricey!
This bike will go WAAAAY over and still have tyre left. I weigh 205 lbs (about 14.5 stone or 93 kilos) plus gear. No probs with the suspension thus far on my '08 SD.

I'm 70 kgs, well 72 at the moment. I have set the sag at the rear a little "high" to help with clearence.

PP Rearsets, sidestand, standard clutch cover and exhaust grounded.

After sidestand deinstall, and some work on the suspension setup no problems. (exept the skidmarx belly pan)
