Have been emailing Hottrax in regard to a Streetfighter series in 2013. Dave Mabbutt let me know today that they are giving serious consideration to putting this class in next years calendar as there is interest from riders. If anybody here is interested in coming racing next year in this class ping him an email inquiring about it. More interest has to be a good thing and will hopefully have them putting this class in. We need more Super Dukes out there racing http://www.hottrax-motorsport.co.uk/

Ought to be called Grottrax as each round will be run at some cheap circuit miles from anywhere. Just like the No Budget Cup should have been called the No Job Cup as anyone that could spend that long in the third world (Wales) was obviously on benefits, just like 99.99997% of the local population who wouldnt know anthracite if they tripped over it on their way to the scratchcard shop.

This years calendar was pretty awesome. Anglesey is the only bitch to get to but meant to be an awesome track.

Brands Indy, Snetterton, Anglesey, Oulton, Cadwell, Donington, Cadwell, Snetterton.

I hope this comes to something but in reality i cant see it happening. Nobody is going to move form Thundersport to Hottrax, so they're going to have to attract a full grid of streetfighters. Having seen what Thundersport have had to do to get a grid i doubt there are 30-40 bikes and riders out there just waiting on a race series and not already out doing Thundersport. If they combine it with 1000cc sportsbikes forget it. It's on thing mincing about with the I4's on a trackday. The race guys can ride them and dont fook about. An SD would get ripped up for ass paper. But then again, if it's just for the experience and having a run out then it'd prob be ok and a decent laugh if you took it as that

Another thing you have to consider Klink is, if you are def racing your SD next year and choose TSGB. Is there is a strict 130bhp limit that is spot tested straight after the race on a test dyno. You get picked and diverted straight into the back of the truck from the track exit. You fail, your chucked out. Your bike makes more than 130bhp.

I emailed them to see if they might be running a Streetfighter or to try and find lap times from the Moxi Twin series. He said they had received a lot of enquiries about Streetfighter, which is why they are giving serious consideration to adding it their series. Will have to wait and see I guess.

My bike is normally good as gold. I always give a good going over before and after a trackday. Stupid oil pressure sensor was was only 9 months old. Will always carry a spare from now on.

Power wise I would have to do a dyno pull to check. She made 128-9 on HM Racing dyno before the Battle Duke ignition map was added and heads were done. Could always get a map made that came in just under if she was over the limit. Not sure she is though. Like you said though its 6 months away so I'm not going to worry too much about which series ect until after Xmas. Need to pick up a few essentials like a race mask and bellypan over winter.

Give up the biftas you say

What you talkin bout willis. Every trackday i've been on your bike as shat it's self.

I'll sell you my spare bellypan for much cheapness. I've got 3x battle looms here too. Planning a monster garage sale/funds raiser soon anyway.

The Battle Duke ignition map is what was made for the original 05/06 SD that entered the Battle Series. I believe it was created by HM Racing for KTM but I could be wrong. Tripodave got his hands on it I belive as it was in his bike which was an original KTM Battle Bike. Since been shared between a few of us on here. Not sure it will work with anything other than a 05-06 bike. A tuner that uses TuneECU could of course give you the same thing anyway.
