Hmm not sure if I fancy Lydden as my first trackday of the year. Going to sleep on this one.

I've not even touched a bike since October!

Well I fooked up any chance of doing this yesterday. Decided to do my usual crash on lap one of an off road track and fooked my wrist again Going to do everything I can to be fit for Cadwell which is the following Thursday. Already paid for that one and FE are never going to give me a credit note.

Back from A&E and no sign of a new fracture but back in a splint again Got to go for a follow up at fracture clinic in 10 days time as I have damaged the exact same area as last time. Feeling a right tit and will maybe have to park up the dirt bike for an extended period and get wrist back to full strength as I can't keep doing this to myself.

I am keen, just hope I get my bike back by then, and remember how to ride it. I had best go in the inters though, or maybe the slow group unless the local IAM are running their, 'be quicker to push the bike around' group in which case I will go in that and save petrol.

All bets are off if snow / heavy rain or 5 degree or lower temps are forecast as I havent done a trackday since my early bath at Snett last march and dont want to start this year in Ben Spies mode.

I am out bike wont be done until Sat am and then I have 50 miles of running it in. Let me know if you are going and I will pootle on down to watch / maybe blag myself into the pm sessions.

I'll be there if it is dry - which is looking a bit touch and go at the moment.

Already done Lydden this year - there were so few there (30 max in the morning) that they made it OPL all day and they only charged £79. A bit chilly but completely dry from about 10. I popped out for lunch at the cafe near the bike shop on the A2, came back after lunch and rode straight through the paddock, slowed down through the dummy grid, got the nod from the main man who recognised me and straight on to the circuit. I don't think I even put my foot down from the main road.
