Well that Moto3 race was an insane crashfest!

Grat ride from Rossi. Shows he can still do the business. Even better ride from Lorenzo, he just fooked off.

I'm in awe of the way these guys ride in those conditions. Shit, I still need training wheels in the wet.
Ant West had a brilliant ride...from 28 on the grid to 8. Epic.
Cal is surely not far off a podium. Spies had better get his shit together or Cal or Dovi will have his bike next year.

So pleased Rossi had a great ride, I just hope this translates to increased confidence, leading to many more podiums. I don't think I breathed from Pedrosa to the line..

Felt sorry for Randy De Puniet - he must have been hoping for a decent result and couldn't contain his enthusiasm!

Rain being the great equalizer, It showed who has the smoothness and guts to twist and brake the deepest. Rossi announced that he would like to continue racing after this season. This , after Stoner says enough already. I wonder if any other rider announced that they were planning to race next year. Seems odd to me, did they ask Jorge if he planned on riding next year, I believe his contract is up this year. Rossi did well to catch Stoner and there was a moment that Stoner evaluated more challenge or a championship and backed off and settled for points. Rossi used to complain about the fastness of the ussual seventh place runners in a race and said they get brave when they have nothing to loose. Bring on the rain for one more reina reign.

It sure was great to see an exciting MotoGP race again. The duel between Rossi, Dovi, and Cal then later Stoner was fantastic! Did I here the announcer correctly that they were breaking 300KPH in those conditions? Amazing stuff no doubt it! On the downside it looks like Spies will be riding a CRT bike next year at the rate he's going. Is there something affecting him that we're not being told about?

I still think Spies is a class act and just hope he gets his act together before contract decisions are made. There is too much speculation that Crutchlow will get his ride on the strength of a few races. Last year Crutchlow did well early season before it all fell apart. That doesnt make him better than Spies you only have to look at WSB for a direct comparrison between the two on pretty much the same bike.
Spies has never been good in the wet in any race I have seen so I dont think yesterdays result is too significant.
With Stoner gone we are down to 3 aliens again. If Rossi gets a Honda or Yam next year the races will go back to two group races Rossi vs Lorenzo and (twice a year) Pedrosa for the win. Then Dovi, Crutchlow and hopefully Spies for the next places and some lower podiums. Personally I think Marques will be racing with these guys for at least a year before he can get on terms with Lorenzo and Rossi.
Wasnt it good to have some overtaking though. Maybe they should flood a third of the tracks each year instead of keep farting about with tyre compounds and new rules.
