I would like to shoot for Sat. Level I

It would be cool to kick it with others from SDN. Anyone else down?

Auto Club Speedway’s AMA Track is 2.39 miles in length with twenty one turns. It is the same track the AMA National event is held on every year. A fun, SAFE, challenging course, with lot’s of technical areas. Garages are available for all riders. Level I allows passing inside & out on the straights and outside only in the corners, Level II allows passing inside & outside on the straights and in the corners, and Level III has no passing restrictions except must be clean six foot passes. In Level I and Level II the straight away ends at the second set of braking cones. Novice Rider School Students ride with Level I riders. Six foot passing rule is always in force in all Levels. California Speedway is one of the nicest venues for motorcyclist. All riders share garages with other riders. The track is exceptional safe and for anyone living in Southern California in Los Angeles or South it is cheaper to attend an event there than other far away tracks with fuel prices being where they are. California Speedway has the best Fire and Safety Team any where. When there is a crash they are on the scene promptly to pick up the bike so there is little lost time when a bike goes down unless there is a fluid spill. Also, two ALS ambulances on site and doctor as well. Each Level gets eight twenty minute on the track sessions minus any lost time to mechanicals or crashes. Fastrack Riders hires additional corner workers so all of them do get a one hour break during the day. It's out the 10 Freeway just east of the 15 Freeway. Exit Cherry Avenue and proceed North. California Speedway is on the left about four blocks from the I 10 freeway.

They dropped the price for the holidays. I believe it's $229 (normally $269)

I just signed up for Saturday the 28th. Level I, and the Noob School ($85).

The class is highly recommended for new track riders. The first time I rode a track without formal education I made some mistakes, but fortunately I didn't have any incidents.

Looking forward to it.

I'll have some pics and Video when I get back.

Heres a Vid of the track.
