Anyone doing a track day in April? I'm keen, I will be on my track bike gixxer 1000.

Lakeside is open late in the month. Has anyone ridden at Morgan Park since the extensions, and what's it like?

As I said, I'll be on Qld Raceway on Tuesday and Lakeside next Monday.. Just remember your baffles if you're doing Lakeside!

Haven't ridden the new layout of Morgan Park yet but loved the old track - I think the new layout may be a little faster and condusive to the big bikes which kind of defies the point of the track I think - that's what Qld Raceway is for! .. I'd like to ride it some time this year but it's a bloody long way to go (I usually ride there and back on the same day), but it's by far THE best track in SE Qld..

BJ, it shouldn't be an issue. I have a two bike trailer, and trailer the bike to all track days even local Lakeside, as I'm too old and spoilt these days! So if you want to do Morgan park I should have room for your bike, depending on demand from my other riding mates.
After doing MP several times all in the one day in the past = 14 hr day till I get home, I swore I'd stay over night next time.
So probably head down the night before, stay locally cheap ( caravan park cabin?) , arrive at the track fresh in the morning, do the track day and drive home afterwards!
