Great racing.

I felt very sorry for Leon at the end of race 2.

Missed Race 2 but race 1 was epic. Some great elbows out riding. Just watching repeats now so should catch race 2 soon.

Watching it right now here in the U.S.
Very exciting racing..Leon was so after it...
Missing that corner didn't slow him either.(first race)..
Amazing stuff...

Second race he had it in the bag...
Unbelievable finish and didn't expect it...

Leon..was robbed

He was knocked clean off......no chance of staying on, Melandri ....his team mate was ultimately to blame (although Rae did the actual knocking off...and the gap was not big enough....but I supose he had to try)........ Melandri had no chance of making that pass on the last bend.....leave alone making a pass on your on your team mate!!!!!!

Now that was some Sunday racing entertainment.
That last pass by Melandri sort of looked rediculous as his line into that bend would never have given him a way out in a better position. Probably got a bit too excited. I thought that it was pretty amazing to see Johny Rea be able to stay up front the way the rest were riding the whole weekend. Sykes has shown great progress on the Kawasaki and he looks to be a threat for some years to come.
Melandri has been a favorite of mine for many years so It will be impossible for me to see clear to put any blame on the last corner debacle on his shoulders. He caused not any change in Haslems speed or negotiation of that turn. It was just Rea getting the use of Leons perfect placement for a great ricochet to help keep Johnny on track.
This will truely be a great series this year and now I have all the more reason to travel the thousand miles to Salt Lake for the next race.
BMW have got to feel real good they can stay in front of the Aprilias.
Quite frankly, Melandri deserves the first BMW win. His corner entry trail braking techniques are phenominal.

BMW has made some improvements to put them in contention as well as Kawasaki...
Max is the cool cat...He was there and always seems to make the best of a situation...
This is going to be a great season in this class...
Wish I was going to Utah...You go Dribble..!!!
You going one up or with a group .???

Watched the first race then supersport was fab racing, really wanted Sykes to win though.

Watched the second when I got home from work, WOW awesome race, was not expecting that on last corner though Haslam had the win, how wrong was I.

I think Haydon and co commetating had it right though, Melandri went for a wild move, Haslam was off line and Rae went for the gap, feel bad for Haslam though.

Im sure BMW were distinctly unimpressed at Melandri chin up.

All in all best round I have seen for while, beats Moto GP which I only really watch these days to see how Cal does. Not seen a good moto gp race for years.
