... I've got one of those stands Ginge - you need to be really vigilant about letting the front down first otherwise if you let the back down first it will bend the headstock pin on the front stand like a banana ...... The curve of the banana bend in the front stands pin can be reduced however by leaving the rear tyre warmer on (it leaves the rear slightly higher) but this does reduce overall grip levels......
