Hello,
Very soon (wednesday) I'll go to Serres, Greece for my first training on a real circuit. Until now, I only went to a karting circuit, here in Romania (with my SD) and I wonder what tyres should I buy?
What are you, guys using on track?
Thx

If you want road tyres that will cope with track. I use Michelin 2CTs or Diablo Corsa 3's but any of the alternatives Dunlop GP racer, Bridgestone BT016 will be fine.
If you plan to do a few trackdays use Pirelli Supercorsa Pro SC1 front SC2 rear. Or Metz Racetec K1 front K2 rear (same thing as supercorsa but a bit cheaper here) These are still road legal so you can ride to and from track.
To be honest though, track tarmac is usually grippier than the road so any tyres will feel as good or better than they do on the road. I bought Dunlop Arrowmax once as I used them at Brands Hatch race school and thought they were good - bag of sh*t on the road!!!!!!
Unless you are Michael Schumaker you will need to do a few trackdays and build your speed quite considerably before you start overheating modern road rubber and losing grip as a result.
So anything you are comfortable using on the road will do. Fit them and forget about them. There is so much to learn and practise on your first track day. Tyres will be the last thing you think about.
Have a great day. Is it California Superbike School? I know they go there.
