Big congrats to my buddy Tyler O'Hara for his first place and dual podiums at Indy on those miserably heavy HDs!
Watching those guys throw them around reminds me of racing a SD. I know the SD is an easier ride but both bikes really stand out on the track as being peculiar to road racing.

Funny how the commentators kept talking about everyone but Tyler even though he led most of the races. That's what happens when you don't have a PR team, I guess?

Also my friend Shelina Moreda got a chance to race those beasts too and was acknowledged as being the first female to ride a moto at Indianapolis!!!

Watching those God awful XRs wallow around the track was something. It convinced me that I'll never own another Harley. (Yeah, I'll cop to owning a Sportster in the early 90's. It handled like a pig too. The frame was practically hinged in the middle. Crapola machine.) All I could think about was how poorly those bikes would fair against a well ridden SD.

Stand next to Pedrosa and you'll feel like a monster, Im not and HD fan but these races are fun to watch and better in person, they sound of 20 twins flying by is great.
