are you in marketing by any chance ?

My bike is rock solid. The only money I spend on it is maintenance, fuel and the occasional whim "present" to keep her happy and shiny.
If yours is a money pit, maybe you did buy the wrong bike to begin with ?.
Each time I ride someone elses bike, it reminds me how good I have it.
Now, if that tart of a Husky Nuda proves as good as it sounds, I might find myself on the greener grass, but for now, and the last three years, its "the one".

I had a 690 before the SD, and I loved it. But now I love the SD even more.

The 690 is too puny for Grendel. His legs stick out all funny and it looks like he is riding a tricycle. The SD is much more comfortable. But Grendel understands your enthusiasm. That is why he has a 690 SMC.

It isn't always about less is more. Fit is very important. Also, while Grendel loves his SMC, he gets a little annoyed with the big single after too long. Something about the pulses of a twin speak to the poetry of his heart.

it was a hard choice for me between the 690 duke and an sd, the 690 is the best fun bike you could own, but I do very little road miles now so I chose the sdr over it, I think ktm build quality is poor, across the board but they make fun bikes

Sure thing Guys.

It's Just me I think I would use the Duke more than I do my SDR. I certaily used my previous Dukes more than any of my SDs.

Maybes I'm getting too old.
