Two feet of snow in at my house. Time to dirt bike. Luckily California is about 10 states rolled into one. A 1 hour drive and I'm in another country.

The area is called Rock Creek. It's on the western slope of the Sierra Nevada Mountain Range. It's pretty remote. There are areas of old growth forest because it was to remote to log.

The trail is to the left. Did I say it was rocky?

Single Track at it's finest

This tree has to be 500 years old. It was at the bottom of a watershed and reached up to the sun. It was huge. This photo does no justice

The old faithful KTM smoker... she just keeps running!

Basically we are on one side of state looking at the other... kinda cool. Look hard and you can see the marine layer at the coast.

Great day, albeit 2 broken/separated ribs that are nagging me to death... this to will pass...

Glad to see you had a dry ride. I rode my 300EXC 2 smoker yesterday and got soaked, but it's all good. Back in the woods ( coastal range mid state Oregon) now with fire danger gone. Frinkin slick wet log across the trail and front end washed out in a heart beat. Took a few minintes for me to get up. Fook that hurt. Thinking about going back out today. I rode my XR650R in Jawbone last Feb. met my bud there. He hauled the bikes and took a Race Tech class in LA. I Rode my Triumph Tiger down and met him at Jawbone. You got some nice ridding down there. We are frikin so lucky what we can ride. Ride on !

I really loved California. Nice weather, beautiful countryside, all those green and blue colors, and nice nature etc..
Thanks for making me jealous

We got hills ! I love a good mountian pass ride. I took a ride to Yellowstone one year. I got the map out and marked all the mountian passes I could and rode as many as possible. Great ride.
We have a road race course in Portland, Oregon. Flat as a pan cake. Don't care if I ever ride it again. Give me some elevation change !
