Im not putting the man down who did the work,im quite happy with the bike,i love it even more now.it's just i found them very expensive.

Do any of you peeps find ktm more expensive than other manufacturers for work to bike, service etc,?

On mine first service was 400€, second 40€. Oil + filter.

Did the second service myself just couple days ago.

Actually, I went to a local dealer here in northern Finland (I'm on work-travel at the moment), but they're booked it full so the first time would have been in end of May. So after we chatted little bit there with the service man, we found out that we have some mutual friends, and that I can hold tools also. We agreed that I'll do the service and he will take responsibility for it and stamp the warranty book!
Before somebody asks; No, it won't void the warranty.

Iwas expecting maybe £300 and when I picked it up the bill was £96.00

I think they did a wallet ectomy cos I think they changed the oil and
filter, that was it.And noticed a mark under the clocks which was not
there when I took her in.
Was told they listen to the bike to see if the shims need checking and mine
was ok. Sounds like Bullshit to me specialy if the shims do need to be done
as the engine has to be cold.

Looks like the next service will be shims and a lot of wonger
