Been a price increase since then FYI.

Increase, they don't miss ya aye.....thought some of the prices were already a bit expensive....time to throw the price list away and go for aftermarket parts instead.

New to KTM with the 1290 and already I am realising my mistake.....bike itself is awesome, build quality yeah not a lot I can say there, but crap comes to mind.....after sales and parts.....ridiculous.

Wonder what the competition will be bring out in the next year or 2, as my short experience of KTM has been more than enough for me, they are not that good, in fact for the price they charge are not even close.

Full exhaust retail is $4600 now... LOL.

I challenge you to find a bike with the same performance figures and same weight and handling. I do hear you though.. for me its worth the price and I've dumped over 10k into mine so far on top of the purchase price. The bike has flaws yes, but if you get a good one and don't mind tinkering its a killer base package.

Been told today that the ABS-TC dongle thingy is AU$199 now and on back order.
They are really taking the piss for a memory stick and a $6 connector.

Might be an awesome bike but I do understand Pikey and I find KTM doesn't deserve our custom.

BTW, did any of you got a replacement vehicle while a warranty issue was fixed? No why not??
On a car of similar value you would!
