I know there are a few SD / SM owners out there in the Netherlands, I've even seen a few of you around the roads
Could anyone recommend a good place for a) tyres b) a good place to take my 990SD for the more serious service/repair side of things. I know there's a dealer in Amsterdam and Geodhart in Bodegraven but I'm not keen on using garages without some kind of reference - he says, looking wistfully at the sheered off oil filter cover bolt from times gone by...

The only experience I have had with KTM dealers is with Dipi in gilze, and motor2000 in Heinkenszand. I only used them for ordering parts. And both were good. Where exactly are you located?
I get my tyres done in Scherpenisse, (http://www.motorprofiel.nl/) Very nice guy and good service.

Hi,
Goedhart is not the cheepest, but has a good reputation.
They did the 45000km job on my SD.
I bit too much oil in the engine (tube was full) and grease on the chain (was on the rear wheel in no time).
Everything else was done properly as far as i could see. They even noted that i already swapped the airfilter myself ( bought it in their store 8 weeks before) and left it in.
So, overall a positive experience.

I'm down in Voorschoten near Leiden, probably Goedhaart is the best bet by the sound of it. Thanks for the replies.

I'd go to Verpalen as well but my bike used to be serviced at Goedhart before I bought it, never really heard any complaints about them.
