1290 oil case to lift bike?

I'm going to have what I refer to as the "clutch housing" replaced under warranty since it is weeping oil through the porous casting. The KTM shop I go to doesn't have a special front lift to lift the bike when they go to fill the coolant. My understanding is that they would strap the rear of motorcycle down and use a jack under the motor to lift the front. I'm assuming they would lift from the oil case and not the headers, which I believe would not do well. Has anyone tried this method to know that it should not harm the engine in anyway as long as they use the oil case and not the headers?

I don't know if I'd be keen on jacking up the bike anywhere under there.
With the SMT I just threw a strap over a shed rafter and winched it up with the handlebars.

Unfortunately, they don't have a way to lift the front that way. I'm really nervous about them lifting they way they said. I'm even going to offer to hold the bike upright by the handlebars while the front wheel is on the lift and let them raise it a little to get the angle for the air to flow upward. I just don't know if they'll allow a customer in the work area to do such a thing. And at least that way in order to do it in that fashion, they wouldn't have to take someone else off another project to fill the coolant on my bike.

Why not just place a ramp up on a work bench, push the bike up a bit and hold it while someone else pour the coolant in the reservoir?
