Hey guys, I've had over 10 bikes in the past 10 years, and one thing I've noticed on the Duke that I've never experienced on any other bike is how easily affected it is by the imperfections of the road. The bike is a 2007 with 15000km on it, I haven't touched the suspensions yet, but just wondering to what point is this normal for the Duke. Sometimes even just shifting seems to upset the bike. My FZ-09 has soft suspension and theres a lot of weight transfer front to back, but I can gun it in the corners fully confident. With the Duke, the bike doesn't seem as planted, while the suspensions should be way above those on the FZ-09...Maybe due for a fork rebuild?
Any input welcome, thanks!

Check the settings on your suspension.
Set it back to stock if it's out of wack, that should allow it to soak up more bumps depending on your weight. I'm 200lbs and sport is more appropriate for me.
All these settings can be found in the manual.

Cool thanks, I'm 190lbs and last owner was probably 160lbs...I'll look into the manual. All I know is when I hop back on the FZ-09 the suspensions are SOOOOOFFFFT hehe But I can take a curve faster on the FZ for now simply cause I know the tyres will stay planted to the ground.
