Gents,

The SD 990 I'm rebuilding has at some point in the past had the 2nd and 3rd gear limit removal trick done to it. It was crashed before I got it and I'm having to rebuild that part of the wiring. Should I leave it modified or go back to stock wiring? Can someone that has done this mod or knows a lot about it give me their feelings on it...Pros? Cons?

Thanks,

Chad

Keep gear mod and also replace side stand switch with bypass unit.

Comrade: I'm in agreement about the gear stuff. I'm not so sure about the side-stand switch bypass. From memory you'll find details in the EPIC threads.

I think the gear mod is or can be done in Tunne ECU It is also done through the loading of the factory Akra. map in either case I am sure that you will not need to do it mechanically. I'd keep the stand switch.
