arkos fitted and running great, no baffles fitted .its loud. smoother lower down the rev range .
quick question for those with the open pipes . ok off throttle around 4500 revs down popping and banging , couple times only .. this is normal as far as i gather with open pipe.it does not pop and bang if you do not rev up on change downs .
the pipes were put on at dealers . fueling adjusted . now for instance if i put the baffles in will it still pop and bang , did this with the original cat and pipes on ,only if you done a quick sprint and then shut off 4000 revs down . popping and banging sounds great . ok my old aprilia rsv with a race pipe on used to pop and bang until i had the fueling mod done which was cutting a wire to the ecu ,which gave it more fuel . while it was popping and banging it was running real lean= BAD.
so is this a normal thing with the ktm ? or does it need really to have a power commander .?
do i put the baffles in or leave them out ? engine temps are still the same ..as with old exhaust and cat.

The pops and bangs are caused by the SAS. Get rid of it

Mount a couple of and disable SAE with TuneECU (or connect a resistor).

Are the pop and bang bad?

I mean, I enjoy it so much.. running (currently..) the original silencers with no modification to engine.

Same as what Rac described, there's a pop-pop-pop on shutting and while revving and shutting I get the occasional "bang" which put smiles on my face and terror on old ladies

Is that bad to anything? I mean, except for them old ladies?

Aside from maybe shortening the life of the graphite seal in the rear header connector, I don't think there's any harm. I used to enjoy the noise as well but getting rid of the SAS cleans up the look of the bike much more.
