Well, I finally got arround to installing some of my mods that have been sitting in the shed gathering dust.
Scamb66 came around and helped me put a larger tank on...(They really are a bastard to close!
Once this was figured, all I had to do was unlearn my throttle dip as I stepped through the gears.
In my mind a value fort money mod, but I have not had a chance to test out other shifters.

Nice quickshifter! How much cheaper is this compared to a 'real' hm unit?
But what about that stalling at the lights? Does it just die when you go from neutral to first, because it cuts the spark? Does this always happen?
Or is it something that can be fixed?
Good looking rearsets too btw!

The comparison is $250 compared to $500ish.
Not sure which is better but I'm happy.
Yeah I stalled it at the lights twice but I think it was my error. I'll keep everyone updated on that one.
I got the Gilles rearsets off here and hey have been great, but I'm still looking for more clearance. I'm thinking of putting attacks on my SDR and se if they are much different, but I'm unsure if they fit with a GP shift.

I have an HM shifter and its true that if you nudge up the lever in first to try ang get into neutral then it can sometimes cut the ignition and stoP the engine. But its rare and i dont find it a problem really.
