This hopefully is unwarranted, but was wondering if you guys might have a brand of fork seals you like over the skf fork seals. I've always heard that skf fork seals are the best. The 1290 is the first bike I've owned that's had skf fork seals. And in about 7,500 miles I'm on my second set. They are being replaced under warranty, not sure if they would do it again if there is another leak within the 12 month warranty. I hope this time around is the charm and solves whatever issue. But if for some reason it doesn't and they won't do it under warranty or just after the warranty runs out and I do it myself, what seals would you guys recommend trying. If the seals leak again, I believe I'm done with skf.

Damn, two sets already?
I weight 200lbs and jump my bike off every drive way hump and speed bump I come across, and wheelie every time I get on it. I still haven't blown a set of fork seals not, even a leak.

Yep, I don't wheelie(blasphemy I know) do stoppies and keep my bike clean. This is my 29th motorcycle at around 600,000 miles total on all my motorcycles. Only one other bike did I have to replace a fork seal, of course I did both. If you put all the work other than oil, breaks, tyres, valve adjustments, etc that I've had to do on the 28 other motorcycles in 24 years of riding, it doesn't equal the work my now 3 month old 7,800 mile 1290 has had! I also had a 2014 690 that has to have the water pump replaced 3 weeks into ownership, plus I had to add a drz 400 fan switch to it to keep it from instantly overheating in stop and go in March and April heat! I traded it for the 1290 on June 11th. These are my first ktm's, as you can imagine, not leaving a glowing impression of ktm's reputation. I thought the 690 was tons of fun and very light weight for a 600, and I've always had a thing for twins, so the 1301cc on the super duke is very much up my alley. But many rides I go on are in places few travel, so not having a bike I have a lot of trust in, is a little discerning.

Fix the seals and get rid of the bike. Best advice on super duke forum you will ever get
On a serious note I'm in shock at all the problems the 1290 has had sure all bikes have dumb stuff happen but for the money this bike costs it seems a bit crazy to me.
Me if I was to purchase another euro bike it would be the rsv4 tuono OK they don't look all that great but they go really good plus they even come with a quick shifter.
