I have a STM & have to say it is a great clutch, I have not tried the other brands on a 990 motor.

The Suter is also good. Not a single problem here!

Had a Suter and a Yoyo. The Suter is better and fit perfectly under the MH cover. Both fit actually.

Well, according to "Consumer Reports" ...

Sorry, couldn't resist.

Have a Suter (KTM), and I'm pleased with it. More 'tunable' (set-able, adjustable, whatever ...) than some, and parts for it seem to be pretty readily available. Pretty trivial install - worth borrowing (or buying) the KTM clutch tool and locking pin.

Have owned a "Yoyodyne" (same as Sigma, and both are TSS of Czech Republic mfgr.) and STM in other bikes. Both worked. Of the 3 brands, the Yoyo seemed the more "budget" product, which was fine for the bike I had it in.

I have a Yoyodyne, bought 2nd hand from DRSWade - its basically the same as the Sigma.
I have heard it said that some people feel the Suter is a better piece of kit.
I have done about 20 track days with it and in my experience it has been pretty much perfect.

Just ordered myself an STM. What tools do I need?

i can tell you what you need for a Sutter,

- An impact wrench to loosen the clutch main nut
- A Clutch holder http://www.ebay.de/itm/KTM-Clutch-Holdi ... 1c2033ac65
- And Loctide 243 to glue the main nut again
- A torgque wrench which you can set to 130NM

it is a about a 30 min job
