Superduke experts.

I have a black 2007 SD for about 5 months now. The chain needed adjustments often, so i decided to get a new chain and sprockets. Today i swapped the stuff.
But,... the rightside chainadjuster just snapped a moment ago.
It needed a lot of force to turn and after a couple of turns (well i guess only one full turn) it just snapped.
It really turned heavy, i guess i needed 60-80 Nm. So i'm afraid a counterthread wont do it.....

How do I move on from here? Drill the remains out of the swingarm? Cut a counter rotating thread anyhow?

Regards,

Mario

Thanks,
I guess my searching skills need improvement..

Mine broke off in the swingarm, so double nuts (?) wont work and i need the lefthand drill.
Will try tomorrow.

Have a look at my thread a few weeks back, ended up drilling it out and re-tapping it. Some bloody pain man

I'm betting there's water in the swing arm too,,,,1/8 inch hole down under the arm will let it drain out,,,then shoot in some WD40 or similar lube to stop the "corrosion" from happening again
