There was a tiny article in performance bikes announcing sigma are now making chain adjusters for the beemer s1000, and that got me thinking.
Since the standard chain adjusters are crap on our superdukes (well I think they are crap) I was wondering if adjusters like these are available for the sd.

I couldn't find them and the ones I could find for other bikes are expensive! ($280 for a set)
Anyone know a company that makes stuff like this but affordable?
I think they look awesome, and they would make adjusting the chain a lot easier.

Thanks.
Loony only has a fancy thing that holds the axle. So with that you still have to use the crap markings on the swingarm. Or use a ruler or something similar to measure.
The nice thing about those lighttech adjusters is they have the moving part, and a piece that stays in place with decent markings on it.

I use these. I measure from the machined surface of the swingarm (the part the locknut sits against) to the leading edge of the axel block. You are correct in that the stock marks on the swingarm are shit.

That picture isn't coming through quite right: its a pin-sharp picture of your rear tyre and a bit of your paddock stand!
Its ok now.
Can you give us the url?

Thanks for the input guys.
Very nice wheels lowrance!
I'll keep searching for the lighttech type adjuster.
Maybe email sigma if they could do something. They only make them for the s1000 yet, but they are planning to make them for a range of different bikes.

The problem you are going to have WRT that adjuster at the top of this thread is that the SD axel threads into the LH side axel block.

Good luck with your search.
