Clutch drag when engine cold

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone else has the same problem. When I take off without first warming the engine up properly the clutch feels like it suddenly bites making the bike jerk. When this happens I can also hear some weird noice coming from some spinning parts rubbing against each other or something.

When the bike warms up the clutch works like a dream, no problems whatsoever. The problem has been there ever since I got the bike ( 06 SD with around 20000km on it). It's not a huge problem, but annoying when I don't have time to warm the engine up. Any ideas what might cause this kind of problem?
