On my 3 week old (~1500km) 1290 I noticed that it got quite difficult to find neutral when standing still?
It used to be quite doable (not japanese-bike-easy but measured-push-from-2nd-easy) but after I went to the track with it for the first time last weekend it's been like that... I did ride it in anger (or at least at the level I'm capable of, which is not much) and got it the hottest it's been so far: oil-temp to 105C.
I have adjusted the clutch lever a bit - doesn't seem to make a difference
Of course, not a biggie but am worried it might get worse...
any ideas?
Cheers!

On my 990 when it gets hard to get it into neutral I bleed a bit of fluid from the little bleed nipple on the clutch master cylinder and it's fine again. It only takes bleeding a couple of drops to get the air out of mine.
AGRO!

Maybe its got something to do with the faulty oil filters KTM are using make sure you check oil filter..

Check the pressure bolts and report back that is a known problem on the 990 sd and adventures

Thanks for the ideas!
I just went for the most obvious one and actually got a bit of a squirt and a bubble when bleeding it - will know tomorrow if it helped.
I did ask here, even though it's a new bike, cause the dealer is quite far away and even if it would get fixed I wouldn't get to know the reason but some vacuous sales talk, maybe even the suggestion that "it's supposed to be that way - but there's fancier levers in the hardparts catalog - and how about some rimtape?"
Doesn't mean that I won't go down that route if I can't figure it out... but not my first option.
I sure hope it's not oil starvation!! Yikes! Now that you mentioned it I need to have a look, I guess. Any other way to figure this out? Would reduced circulation mess with the oil temperature (seems ok (not that I know what ok is) 83 on the highway close to legal speed, 90-95 in city traffic, 105 on track. With air temps 32-36)?
Cheers!
