folks.... have seen a gazillion of posts for coolant leaks but none of them describes my problem..... so I've to check it in. got my lady (lovely Bettsy) back from the dealer and he had changed the coolant.
out on the first ride I was riding her pretty hard and had the temperature on "max minus 3 bars" for quite a bit.

first stop at the top of the pass - my baby spilled coolant out of the overflow hose on the bottom side, was a little shocked and rode her back to the fort without any issues, temperature was ok and didn't get hot for the whole ride - about 30miles/45 minutes.

now could it be that the dealership filled her to the max and with the high temp she spit a little bit or should I be prepared for the worst!?!

please help Bettsy and me!

They probably over filled the expansion tank...happened to mine when I first bought it.

Sounds like you need a new radiator cap. What you described is exactly what happened to my SDR.
