I was riding my 990 into work when it sputterd, and died. I clicked the starter button and it fires but wouldn't run. Fuel light was on so I figured I was out of gas. Pushed it to the pump filled the tank to the brim with premium but it still wouldn't fire. So I pushed it on the mile long sidewalk to home. Recently I added a shorai battery, motohooligan air box, PCV, and auto tune. First thing I checked was fuses, everything was good. Next I check power to the fuel pump connecter, that was also good. I disconnected autotune and still no fire. Then I disconnected the PCV and it still wouldn't fire. Finally I checked fuel pressure and I had nothing. Siphoned the fuel tank and found the filter in poor shape including the sealing edges. New filters are on order. My pump ticks when they key turns in it just doesn't spin. Before ordering a new pump I will take it apart and see if anything is obstructing it.
