Just got back from a two month trip (work, not pleasure), pulled the SD out to fire it up and the dreaded click click click. Ordered a new Earth X ETX18C Lithium battery from PJs parts. Little pricey at $219 but I thought what the hell, I'll give it a shot. These batteries have a really good reputation for being around for such a short time. As you all are surely aware, 2lbs vs 11.5lbs, quite a difference. Two year warranty to boot.
Installation was straight forward as it fits exactly as the stocker does with one small exception, you have to trim the small tab at the top of the battery box cover....not a big deal. After installation I pushed the starter button and was rewarded with a very quick turn over and immediate start. This battery makes the bike crank way faster than the stock Yuasa ever did.
I live in California so am not too worried about the cold starting issues with some Lithium batteries. That being said, I've watched a few Youtube videos of snowmobiles using Earth X batteries that were firing right up from cold without hesitation at sub 0 F temperatures. Again, pretty impressive.
So far I have to say I'm impressed. Time will tell.
So impressed I think I will be buying one for the WR450F sitting out in the garage on the Battery Tender.

Been reading up on these http://antigravitybatteries.com/ as well as the EarthX. Been following http://advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=757934 for which will do the trick for me. Looking for the smallest usable battery to go under the seat.
Looking forward to your review.

Not sure what size the Antigravity version is but there is no way you are getting the Earth X under the seat without some serious modifications as it is the same physical size as the stock Yuasa YTZ-14S.
Will update in a month or so when I have abetter idea of how this battery is performing.
Cheers.

First ride...bike fires up without hesitation.
Most note worthy improvement....the front wheel will not stay on the ground. This bike is not known for it's inability to wheelie to begin with but the loss of 9ish pounds right behind the front wheel made a huge difference.
Males me wonder how much of an improvement I could acheive if I dropped a few off my fat arse.

Popped for the antigravity small case 12 cell. Will try it out in a few weeks once my garage is finished.
