My 08 SD is completely stock but will likely change all that over the winter.
Specific to the exhaust, is there real benefit in using a complete system, Akrapovic, versus aftermarket cans, Akrapovic Yoshimura FMF etc, and the stock header?
I do not intend on riding at the track anymore. Just want a solid hard running bike for the street.
Of course the intake system and fuel mapping will be upgraded.

Don't want to come down on you to hard as this is a great place to be with nice people (myself not included)
This subject has been flogged to death and over so maybe a search will enlighten you.
Plenty of maps both for tuneecu and power commanders here on the forum too.
In short full system looks good but as far as I know there is not much gain on a standard model and probably a bit loss of torque.
If you do other mods a full system might help.
Ditching the original boat anchor at the rear however helps to save about 10 kgs and makes a few extra ponies too.
