Hi Guys and gals

Yesterday I was on a quick ride out after I cleaned my bike. Unfortunately after an hour of riding the FI lamp lid up. I turned off the ignition and waited 20 seconds, then turned the bike back on, FI lamp stayed off.
After about 15 minutes it turned back on and I rode home. I looked up the FI code, 1 long, 7 short seems to be the second throttle valve sensor. Now the big question, should I do something about it right away ? The motor is running fine.
I'll check later if there are any loose cables or connectors that got wet somehow, but what would you recommend doing ? FYI I tend to ride a lot, 1000 km a week is usual for me, my bike is the 2010 SD-R in case it matters.

Thanks for your help, appreciate it a lot.

Best regards
Jens

Search BGC or big grey connector, all your questions will be answered my friend!

I have the repair manual though, maybe you can point me where I can find it ?

How do I get it out of there ? It's hooked to a piece of metal and I can't get in there to pull it off ?
