I adjusted my front suspension and marked the tops where I had moved them to with some of the mrs nail varnish. I have noticed that the left fork, as you sit on the bike is moving. By this I mean the large 24ish mm nut head on the top is turning on its own. Should this happen?
Thanks in advance, Matt.

Hi Peachy,

Yep these definately shouldn't move. FYI my RC8 left one would turn a bit quite regularly too. KTM changed mine for the RC8R tops which had more definate stops on the preload adjuster.

Seems common on KTM/WP fork tops

This is on the left one also! Maybe I should contact a dealer and find out.

Are you saying the fork is moving up and down through the top yoke as you sit on the bike or that the fork inner is moving up and down within the fork itself? Either way its a massive no no.

I think he means the preload adjuster is rotating itself slightly.
