I'm looking to swap my OEM 16 tooth sprocket for a 17 tooth sprocket on my '08 SD. Is this a straight swap? I assume chain will be long enough. Although I'm pretty handy with tools and working on my bike...I want to be sure there are no hidden surprises.
Is the sprocket butted up against a bushing or does sprocket itself provide the seal on the oil seal? I figure I need the sprocket, locking tab washer. Anything else? Any links or advise will be greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
David

Straight swap dude, takes like 15mins! the chain should be long enough but you may have to flip your axle blocks over to give abit more room!
I did it the other way round, i have an 05 which came with a 17T as standard and i went doen to 16T, i reused the original locking tab/washer and its held no problems!
