I bent my bar risers on a crash on the duke a month back or so. Been debating buying a used set and possibly handle bars if they're bent too. I was rolling around the idea of getting fork clip ons. I prefer the aggressive style handle bar arrangement. I know there's a company that makes a bolt on clip on race bars but theyre around $300 and while I may get then one day, right now they are out of my price range. Anyone else bust a handle bar mod to a race style set up?

Well my friend, we do have one hell of a handlebar thread already. and here are some images I saved from another thread before photobucket went to shit.

The majority of pictures and links don't work on that thread. I had checked it out earlier. Thanks for the pics though. They helped, but I'm looking for something like this https://www.google.com/search?client=ms ... htu5xGQ-yM: woodcraft racing makes a $300 set. I was hoping there was an alternative or if tube clip ons are functional.

Aside from liking the race style more aesthetically, when I'm in a tight and fast knee dragging turn, I feel the front end pulling up from the leverage of my weight. I'm at 250lbs/114kg. I feel the front end losing traction when it happens and can be really unnerving.
