Am I the only one having issues removing these tiny little screws that hold the butterflies in place??? I was able to break one of them open but the others won't move and I'm starting to strip the heads because they are so freakin soft!
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. I tried searching and there doesn't seem to be any threads about this here or the "how to section". I'm about to say F it and leave them in.

I was having the same problem and thoughts as you... Make sure your screwdriver is as close as possible to the screw size, and bare down and use a lot of downward pressure onto the screws. If it starts to strip, take a break, then use more downward pressure. Good luck.

Yeah I'm about to take a drill to these little bastards. I can't believe how soft these screws are.

Use a heat gun. Don't forget to use lactate when installing

I give all cross heads a clout with a hammer (on the top of the screw driver) before I try (this can break the bond between male and female treads and seat driver before trying) I know that it is hard to do that on these because they are on the shaft......so sharp tap/taps....and use WD40 30mins before
Failing that fill throttle body with two small rags and cut slot in screw head (part of hack saw blade) as you said it is very soft.... carefully remove top rag with all fillings (any missed will fall on to second rag)
The only bright side is........you will not be re-fitting when you feel the difference

Thanks for sharing your tips! I'll give it a go tomorrow with a heat gun and the tapping technique when I'm fresh and relaxed. If all else fails the mini saw sounds like a good idea! I'm still a little flustered right now so I'll probably break something tonight lol
Thanks again guys!

If you're like me and managed to strip the screws after 2 attempts, I ended up just taking a dremel to both the screws and secondary shafts. If you have to go that route make sure you clean your throttle bodies EXTREMELY well, as there will be a lot of metallic dust/filings in them that you don't want getting into your engine.

Well I don't want to damage the shafts since I'll be installing the Motohooligan Butterflies in it's place.

Mine were a pain the ass to remove also. I light tapped the screws with a hammer and they finally came out
