Put a shorai battery in yesterday and rode about 200 miles with no problem. Rode to work today. Again, no problem. When leaving work tonight, slow initial crank, battery light came on for just a quick moment then fine. I noticed when I got off the freeway that as I revved the motor, the headlight would dim slighlty. Wth???

Any suggestions?

Either a duff battery (but have no experience of Shorai, so do not know whether they are up to the job) or failing regulator/rectifier.

Likely Rectifier regulator.
Get it checked as it can ruin your new shorai and also expensive electronic equipment like ECU etc.
I could be wrong but in this case better safe than sorry!!!!!

If it is the RR google this for a better than original product. Most likely will also be cheaper than the KTM OEM.
fh012 shindengen or fh012 regulator.
