Hey guys,

Picked up my 05 SD on the weekend & have been having a blast hooning around ever since, decided to take it for a night ride.
Hmm... No headlight!
now normally the low-beam is an always-on type, and the high-low beam switch does nothing. just the little parking bulb stays on. But when i flick the momentary high-beam/ passing switch, the high beam comes on.

I'm an electrical guy, so i got continuity and voltage probing.

Bulb is fine, fuses are fine, switches are fine, connector looms and all connectors behind the headlight are fine. - so all the usual suspects are off the hook

Voltage testing revealed that the there's no power coming through the loom up front behind the lights, even before it gets to the switch or bulb.

SO what exists between the fuse and the headlight loom up the front?
Some kind of relay?

I'm not new to bikes, but i'm new to the KTM & unfortunately have no idea what the circuit looks like

Thanks guys

Download the repair manual which has circuit diagrams.
I think this one has it.

If it's not the right one there are plenty of links (search) on this forum.
