Hello
right about a month ago i bought these
stated that these would fit my 2006 SD however after following the instructions i have no idea where the earth connects to. (the earth that connect to the new flasher unit)
and this is how is ment to connect.
i dont really want to cut any cable until i know 100% that these fit..
Ive seen another post someone saying that they stripped a rizoma unit down.. but surely this should fit without a major issue
many thanks

Sowewhere there, near right side connectors you should find two auxiliary equipment connectors, looking like this:
One of them on the side of the sleeve should have label "ACC1" - this is the one the instruction manual asking you to connect to. You use only spade male connector, spade female must stay spare, just in case you wish to connect something there in the future.
If you don't have them in your Duke (I can have a look on the drawing later on, not sure if those were available on 2006 SD) just connect to any negative wire you can find.

Hi
Thanks for the reply.
I've looked everywhere and cannot find the acc1 or any spade connectors.
I've tried an Earth on the starter but struggling to get any thing.
I do have two spade connectors on right hand side of fuse box! could this be it?
dont fancy running a cable from headlight to the seat
Pulling my hair out
pics of the whole wiring behind the headlight
2nd pic are the front indicator cables

Right got a copy of the wiring diagram.
if its possible just need a little help (just so i am reading it correctly)
My Acc1 in under my seat (brown for earth) so my indicators should work if i connect it to this. However in ideal world running a cable from headlight mask cant be the best option. so i was think about piggybacking from the brown on the headlight (would this still work if headlight are off)
Any feedback welcome as i dont want to start chipping away at the wiring if im gonna mess it up! and i really want these indicators to work

Is your Duke 2005/2006 model with older type speedometer? Because as I can see on the drawing even that one has ACC connection available, but may be located in different place, not necessarily behind headlight. I don't know this model, as I have 2008 R, but that wire to me can be connected to any ground you have access to.
The closest one may be on the right side bottom 12-pin connector. There is brown wire on the terminal 1, that should work, as really all you need is ground connection, just use piece of spare wire to join them together, then check. I can't see your bike flasher circuit being any different to later ones, so it should work just fine.
Where did you get new flasher relay from? I never saw anything like it. If it won't work maybe we should have closer look at that relay, as it is really straight forward and should work straight out of the box.

Sorry, sent my post just after your one with the drawing attached. So yes, you have ACC located somewhere else, but ANY ground connection should work just fine.

Right I'm on to a winner.
Used that acc1 under the seat and it all works.
Just need to find a suitable Earth behind headlight.
Any ideas which one is best to use?

Shall post pic up later.
Thanks for your help!!

I didn't know they supply kit like this. I did go for motogadget flasher and replaced it with original one.
