Help the tacho now will not go through diagnostics when plugged in....
Tried new loom in place and worked fine with correct error codes....
Removed old loom replaced with new and the tacho only lights in spurts...
Tried old loom again and it still does it!!! I think I fooked up!!!
Help!!!

Does the rev limiter still work? All you need really.

I don't know how old your console is, but like many others' here - my original (2008) was a POS. It wasn't well sealed and ended up with moisture and dust in it. Yes Virgina, it failed.

What you describe reads like a bad connection/connector (clearly not the loom) - typical of not only this console but of the poorly chosen connector: A sizable yet very weak thin-shelled connector with very small - undersized for the application IMPO - pins/sockets. Yes, probably another victim of KTM's poor engineering/test practices.
