Hi just a quick question..

I've recently purchased my 2010 SD with akropovic cans already fitted ( I have removed baffles, sounds amazing ) but how do I know if it has been remapped or not for sure?

Cheers!

i'm sure someone like klinck will be along in a bit with a whizz kid way of telling if the maps been updated using tune ecu..... but in the mean time check with your local ktm stealer - which i think unfortunately for you is perth! They should be able to tell you if the Akra maps been installed and if it hasn't update the ECU for you....

welcome to the forum ...... and definitely try to get to the crashfest if you can

You can use tuneecu to download the current map and check it. A dealer will be able check, but Perth is the closest.

I know Dennis Irvine superbikes used to be a ktm dealer so might still have the computer.

You could just get the KTM dealer to check it out but the best is get cable for tuneecu and check it out for yourself.
If you have after market cans it most probably has been mapped but if it is still using the stock map it is ok anyhow as the stock map runs rich. The
Akra map runs way to rich so to me stock map is better unless you change your air box out to a MH air box or other brand Air box.

Ok. I think ill just leave it at the moment as the bike does run ok to me, I was just curious if anything! but at some point i think ill go for the MH airbox so i will get a tuneecu cable I think and get it set up that way

Cheers for the advice guys!
