How flexible is carbon?

I've recently bought a Acrapovic carbon front fender, for my SD.
As I was trying to get it between my fork legs, it didn't fit right away.
I have to bend the fender quite a bit to get it trough.
I'm not t keen to bent it much, as I'm afraid it wil crack.
So my question, how far can I bend it?

Good quality CF can bend pretty far. Only the resin is the problem with cheap CF, that will crack especially when applied too thick.
In my experience Akra CF is from good quality with a good resin compared to other brands.

Also, good quality CF will make a cracking noise when bend, this is normal and doesn't mean it's broken so don't panic

The Akra carbon front mudguard will definitely bend enough to get it through the forks. Don't worry, just do it slowly.

Or just quickly whip the front wheel out?
