So today Im riding and as Im coming to some stops I pull in the clutch and start to brake when I notice the bike is not comin g back to an idle quickly. Instead it is hovering around 1200 rpms for 45 seconds or so. Bike was running great up untill today. 2008 SDR akro pipe and akro map. What could this be?

Mine was doing something similar after my motobox install, I just reloaded the map with tuneecu and did the 15min reset and it self healed some how.

Regular 'characteristic' for me, usually solved by 15 min reset only - check your clutch switch as well though as I frequently have to realign the switch blade and have had to replace the whole switch two or three times in circa 38k miles.

Yep mine does it occasionally.
I have found if I start it up (from warm) and set off straight away then it does this holding onto 2-3k for say 15 secs or so thing and then I have to do a 15mins reset to put it right again ,but if I let it idle for say 30 seconds to a minute before I set off each time then it is fine and drops to idle staright away.

I just got my Tume ecu cable in also. I'll try loading the tune again also.

Search on BGC. I've posted several times on the what, why, where and how. Even if you're not having issues with it at the moment you will in the future unless you apply the fix I posted some 2 odd years ago.
