Ignition Switch Failure

Went for a week long ride about last week based out of Red Buff Cali with the KTM 9X0 Adventures. We had a ignition switch failure on one of the newer 990's. They look like the same switch used on the SuperDukes so I thought it best to post up and share the problem. We were able to make a repair and only lost about a hour. Luck had it we found the fault before we left camp.

This part of the switch was un screwed from the lock that is held to the top triple clamp. The top part of the lock is held in place with anti-tamper screws.

Cheers!
