Instead of using a very expensive navigation system on the bike, I decided to use my iPhone instead. I have bought a waterproof case that I needed to install on the bike. I didn't like the supplied bracket, so I built one myself. It a very simple bracket, basically just a stainless steel plate (1.5mm thick) with a few holes drilled into it. I then changed some hardware on the bar mount to be able to install the plate. This is the result. The one thing I might change, is the height of the plate. There's currently 2 nuts underneath the plate. I might reduce that to 1. It makes me nuts ...

Ok, the perfectionist I am, I had to make it look better. I didn't like the bolt and nuts solution. So back to the garage. I made some bushings to replace the nuts. Unfortunately I don't have the proper tools, so had to make them by hand.

Next I placed them on the bar mounts.

Then placed the bracket, which looks like this ...

... on top of the bushings, and fixed the whole thing with some nice stainless steel allen heads.

Looks a lot better, me think.
